THE RUB by J Christopher Co. used to be thought up in 2006. After years of experimenting and frustration with many commercial spice rubs and blends, on the lookout for the easiest Baby Back Rib rub, (and plenty of failed BBQ dinners), our founder JC Flugger wanted more. No other blend met his expectations, so he made his own, “THE RUB”.
Working with traditional BBQ flavors from Tennessee, we fused fresh tastes of California, and finished with old world spices from Israel – so THE Rub used to be born.
